THIS ROLE
Do you love helping people find solutions to their questions? Do you like to keep up with technology? Norvado, the area’s premier provider of broadband services and products, is looking for you. We are looking for a full-time, Residential Telecommunications Outbound Specialist, to focus on driving residential telecommunications sales through cold calling, door knocking, and representing Norvado at various events and exhibitions. Do you have a passion for sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to exceed quotas in a fast-paced environment? If so, we are looking for you. Compensation for this position is based on meeting quotas with commissions payout.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a full-time, Residential Telecommunications Outbound Specialist your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct outbound cold calling to prospective residential customers to promote and sell Norvado’s telecommunications products and services.
- Execute door-to-door sales campaigns in assigned territories, engaging with potential customers and generating interest in Norvado’s services.
- Represent Norvado at community events, exhibitions, and other public venues to generate leads and promote services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly call, door-knock, and sales quotas.
- Use Zoho CRM to track all customer interactions, manage leads, and accurately document customer contact activity.
- Provide potential customers with detailed product and service information, create customer estimates, and ensure smooth entry of sales orders into Zoho CRM.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to refine and optimize lead generation and sales strategies based on customer interactions and feedback.
- Stay informed about Norvado’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activities to effectively position and sell our services.
- Establish a close relationship with the Customer Technology Consultant (CTC) team. Act as a resource for the CTCs as needed and collaborate to accomplish the goals of both positions.
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to report on sales performance, customer trends, and any obstacles to achieving sales goals.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge and skills usually acquired through an associate’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or the equivalent training and experience.
- One-year related direct sales experience.
- Knowledge of communications/broadband industry procedures, services, or products usually acquired through at least one year of work experience or training in the technology field.
- Computer literacy including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and applications.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS OR EXPECTATIONS
You’ll excel greatly as a Residential Telecommunications Outbound Specialist if you possess the following:
- Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, door-to-door sales, or similar roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers in person, over the phone, and in event settings.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and handle rejection professionally.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Zoho CRM.
- Experience with the NISC billing platform is preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for success and a passion for delivering results.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of telecommunications products and services is a plus, though not required.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports directly to the Marketing Director and works closely with the Marketing Department for support on lead generation.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Normal office environment.
- Some exposure to outside weather when attending promotional events, etc.
- The role is based out of Eagle River, Phillips, or Cable, Wisconsin and will require local travel within assigned territories for door-to-door and event-based sales.
