The Details
The Barksdale Fiber Build project will begin in August 2023 with a projected completion date of October 20, 2023. During the project, Norvado will be burying 28 miles of fiber to connect 213 homes and businesses.

If your home or business is included in the fiber build area and you want a FREE fiber drop that will connect you to the good life, then complete the form below before June 15, 2023. This form is our roadmap to bury and install the fiber facilities on your property as efficiently as possible. The more accurate and detailed you can be, the better!
After the form is received, you will be added to our construction list and will receive periodic updates as the build progresses.

Fifty percent of the total cost of this project is or will be financed with federal funds. The amount of Grant Award totaled $624,580.00. This project [is being] [was] supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number 321 awarded to Chequamegon Communications Cooperative dba Norvado, Inc. by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. These federal funds [are] [were made] available through the American Rescue Plan Act and the State of Wisconsin, acting by and through the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
