In 1950, the Chequamegon Communications Cooperative was formed in Cable, Wisconsin and brought the first telephone network to townships in the Chequamegon National Forest.

Our cooperative has evolved and now, as Norvado, brings cutting-edge technology to six counties in Northern Wisconsin.
