To protect our customers and network from escalating spam and phishing activity, Norvado is implementing enhanced email security controls. Industry analysis shows that a majority of these threats originate from compromised or insufficiently secured email passwords.

As part of this security initiative, you are required to update your email password to meet current security standards no later than March 1, 2026. If the password is not updated by this date, email access will be temporarily suspended until the password update is completed.

While Norvado does not enforce a rigid password formula, we strongly recommend alignment with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines, which represent accepted best practices across the information security industry:

• Minimum length: 12 characters
• Maximum length: 64 characters
• Best practice: Use a passphrase rather than a short or complex string
• Recommended: A password generated and stored using a reputable password manager
