This Role

The Business IT / Customer Network Tech will install, support, and sell all end user equipment and servicing infrastructure with a high regard to customer service, quality, and efficiency.

Education and Experiences Needed to Be Successful:

These are some qualities we are looking for in our Business Solutions Support Specialist.

• Knowledge and skills usually acquired through a certification/diploma program or associate degree in Telcom/Broadband communications, IT, electronics or related field or the equivalent training and work experience.
• Computer and customer residential and commercial network literacy and an ability to learn Norvado proprietary operating software and applications.
• Comp TIA or similar certifications are expected.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions from written, oral, or diagram formats.
•     Activities may be necessary outside normal business hours.  Must be able to respond to “on-call” or emergency maintenance situations.
•     Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to company and customer data.
• Ability to use and maintain OSP operational software and applications.
• Ability to pick out color-coded cables.
• Comply with all RUS specifications, industry standards, safety rules and regulations, and company policies.
