Cable, Wisconsin —Norvado will join local and state officials, along with members of the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association, to celebrate Bayfield County’s Telecommuter Forward! certification on Aug. 22, 2018.

Telecommuter Forward! recognizes communities where broadband speeds, local support and co-working space combine to create ideal remote working environments. Bayfield County has taken a lead in using their broadband infrastructure as an economic development tool.

WHO: Norvado CEO Chad Young, Bayfield County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Scottie Sandstrom, Bayfield County Administrator Mark-Abeles Allison, WSTA’s Executive Director Bill Esbeck and Wisconsin’s State Broadband Director Angie Dickinson.

WHAT: The event will celebrate Bayfield County’s Telecommuter Forward! certification while highlighting the importance of stimulating economic activity by increasing job opportunities and awareness of telecommuting.
