Subject: Norvado Announces Protocol to Support Customers, Mitigate the Spread of Coronavirus, and Ensure Service Continuity

As our community prepares to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Norvado has instituted policy and process to ensure continuity of service to our customers, adhere to best practices and recommendations to maintain the health of our employees and customers alike and provide customer offers relieving certain costs associated with service.

Customer Support
Norvado will not terminate service to any residential or small business customer because of their inability to pay their bills due to the disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, we will waive any late fees that any residential or small business customer incurs because of their economic circumstances related to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Existing Residential Customer Offers

Free Speed Upgrade – Norvado will upgrade existing customers Internet speed for FREE for three months

Seasonal Customer – will not be charged the “seasonal upgrade” or “date charge” to reinstate service early.

New Residential Customer Offer

Three Months Free – new Internet customers will receive three months free and installation fees will be waived.

Mitigate the Spread of Coronavirus and Ensure Service Continuity

A number of policy and procedures have been implemented to ensure service continuity and to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19 including the following. For greater detail, please visit www.norvado.com/news

Offices closed to the public and Norvado vendors as of 12:00pm Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

We are maintaining departmental geographic diversity to minimize the risk of an entire department becoming ill at one time.

Norvado’s Cable location will close its training room to the public as of 12:00pm Tuesday, March 17th, 2020.

Technicians/Employees will survey customers relative to their Coronavirus/COVID-19 exposure prior to entering their home/business. Should it be evident exposure exists, we will assist the customer remotely but will not enter the premises.

Norvado employees will maintain a 5-hour travel restriction and less than 50 person gatherings to enter a Norvado property. Working from home and quarantine requirements will be implemented, should an employee travel farther or be exposed to groups greater than 50 persons.

Norvado employees, whenever possible, will work from home.

Office cleaning supplies have been upgraded to “medical” grade.

Career Day scheduled for April 8th is postponed.
